Time to Cover Book Covers
Have you ever judged a book by its cover?
The colloquial phrase says we shouldn’t, but I’ll be honest and say that I’ve done this a time or two, and I would guess some of you have too.
In all honesty, we like a book to grab us even before we open it, either because of its title, reputation, or cover!
I don’t think I need to say much else to convince you that a cover is important, but I will add…
Who is C.R. Ware?
What does C.R. stand for? Well, that depends on the day.
Most of the time it’s an abbreviation of some of the initials in my name,
other times it stands for Captain Random!
As for stories and my writing, a lot comes from my childhood. During my younger years, my parents’ jobs made it so that for a few years we spent most of our weekends on the road for hours at a time.
In an attempt to keep my sister and I from killing each other in the backseat, my parents played audiobooks. I can’t tell you how many audiobooks we listened to on cassette tapes and CDs, but I can tell you that it helped lay the foundation of my love of a good story.
